As an attendee of the 2024 National Conference from September 26-29, your health and safety—and that of all attendees—is very important to us. As a result, we are closely monitoring the recommended protocols and specified requirements of local, state, and federal authorities.
We are working closely with our host hotel, the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine, to ensure the frequent cleaning of high-touch areas and meeting rooms throughout the conference. This is in addition to their existing processes for managing the cleanliness of guest rooms, eating and drinking venues, and other areas of the hotel available to overnight guests. Please be aware that, in accord with San Diego County’s current health and safety guidance, neither Hyatt nor Catholic Answers will require anyone to wear a face covering at our conference. Also, we will not be inquiring in any way about any attendee’s vaccination status. However, we encourage guests who would feel more comfortable wearing a face covering to do so and will happily provide one at the registration desk upon request.
